Just like other minorities, gifted receive mixed messages. Stop asking questions and do what you are told; or why do you need help you can do it all; or you are so smart; or why are you such a smartaleck?
To be true to ourselves it requires - understanding the dynamics of being gifted, overcoming the mixed messages and struggles, developing are many talents and abilities, expressing our gifts for ourselves and/or the world, and connecting with others like us, those around us and the dots for the big picture we see.
